Anaerobic (Inert) Ovens

Purging with non-oxidizing gas keeps oxygen levels low

The IPH models are hermetically sealed ovens, allowing them to be filled with non-oxidizing gas such as carbon dioxide or nitrogen for anaerobic heat treatment or temperature-characteristics testing.

Hermetically Sealed Configuration
The chamber is hermetically sealed to decrease oxygen inside the chamber. The seams of the inner stainless steel walls are welded with argon gas.

Oxygen Concentration Indicator (Optional)
An optional oxygen concentration indicator and regulator is available. It allows precise regulation of the oxygen level from 0.5 to 21% (using nitrogen).

Features

  • Hermetically sealed stainless steel liner to prevent ingress of external atmosphere
  • Use carbon dioxide or nitrogen inert gas for anaerobic treating
  • Flow meter and pressure gauge are included
  • Microprocessor based controller with large LED display
  • Two-step programmability with functions for automatic start, stop, ramp, and repeat
  • Specimen power supply control terminal—turns specimen off if chamber faults
  • Four-tiered safety system for overheat conditions
  • Visual and audible alarm with diagnostic fault code
  • Two shelves included standard, rated for 40 lbs. or more
